HAREC originates from the integrated effort of cutting edge professional engineers and highly-specialized scientists, whose multidisciplinary know-how covers the wide spectrum of water-related earth science disciplines.

 

The HAREC staff and collaborators have extensive professional experience and/or hold an advanced academic degree (PhD) in one of the following areas:

  • Hydrology and hydraulics
  • Coastal and offshore engineering
  • Fluvial and coastal geomorphology
  • Seismic and geotechnical engineering
  • Statistics
  • Computer science and information technology (IT)

 

The strict connection with the academic world results in HAREC to be always up to date with the most recent advances in science and technology within hydraulics-related topics. HAREC projects, reports and software are published in peer-reviewed international journals and presented at international professional and academic conferences.
